The loop resource has been very recurrent in the musical development of the band. It is by this means that this song arises, which marks a break in the album, leaving aside the cheerful melodies of the previous songs, and entering into darker melodies that allude to the dark side of each one. The lyrics of the song make it clear that one enters "limbo", that is, that thin line that separates life and death. In this case, it is the thin line that separates our inner light and our darkness.
The darkness itself corresponds to those inner aspects that we have not wanted to delve into, or that interrupt the emergence of an essential being.
As for the music, the 7/8 rhythm of the loops are assembled to the rhythms of Paul Sotier's drums, generating a character closer to progressive rock but with a constant melodic line, allowing a fluidity that, as the song progresses, becomes more saturated and louder, analogous to what happens with a snowball rolling down a hill.
lyrics
En el limbo
en el limbo eh
eh eh hey
eh eh hey
En el limbo
en el limbo
En el limbo
en el limbo
Tiempos violentos
(Es el Pantano
Almas en pena
en el purgatorio
es el Pantano
donde todas las criaturas
pueden convivir
estamos en el limbo)
Es el Pantano
En el limbo
en el limbo
en el limbo
ehhhhh
Es el Pantano
Ahh Ahh Ahh
